Backyard Newborn Session at Home
The afternoon sun hit differently that day. Maybe it was the way it filtered through their garden, or how it caught the raindrops on the plants. Or maybe it was just that everything looks more beautiful when you're watching brand-new parents with their first baby.
We wandered out to their backyard, chickens scratching nearby, curious about their family's newest addition. Iris was so peaceful in her parents' arms - you know those perfect newborn days when everything felt like a dream?
The garden seemed to embrace them, offering up the prettiest light. Every parent wants to show their baby the world, and here they were, introducing Iris to their little slice of paradise. First sunshine. First fresh air.
New parents have this look about them. Like they can't quite believe this tiny human is theirs. Like every second is both forever and not long enough.
