Welcome — My name is Emily Santi. I photograph and film births, and serve as a doula for families in Orlando and across Central Florida. I'm a Birth Becomes You certified and IAPBP-accredited birth photographer, and for more than seven years I've been showing up for families on what I call their birth-day, over 150 of them so far.

I photograph home births, hospital births, birth center births- every setting, every kind of labor. Every mother's birth is different, and I photograph it exactly as it happens for her. No two stories are the same, and every one matters.

Your birth, your story.

Birth does not happen one way, and it does not photograph one way. From behind my camera, I am not looking for a particular kind of birth. I am watching how yours takes shape in the room, including the parts you will be too deep in it to notice for yourself.

Labor may last a few hours or stretch into the next day. It may happen at home, in a hospital, in a birth center, or somewhere you did not plan for. Medication may be part of it. None of that should make one birth look like another in the photographs. What matters is that the photographs show what was true of yours.

That only happens when you feel heard and supported first. You do not need to perform for the camera. You get to stay inside your birth

Birth coverage begins at 37 weeks, when I go on call for you. I join you in active labor and stay through birth and the first two hours postpartum, documenting the story as it actually happened: the anticipation, the intensity, the people who loved you through it, and the first hours with your baby.
For families who want to remember not just how birth looked, but how it moved and sounded. Birth films are intimate, cinematic, and carefully edited to preserve the feeling of the day.
My doula support is steady, practical, and deeply familiar with birth. I help you prepare beforehand, support you through labor, and stay grounded in what matters to you as things shift. I’m currently accepting a limited number of doula-only clients each month.
