This is how your birth gets remembered.
There is no single right time to reach out. Many families book months before their due date, sometimes as early as the second trimester. Others find me in the final weeks or days of pregnancy, after plans have changed, or later than they originally intended.
If you’re reaching out later than planned, please don’t assume it’s too late. If I have availability, I’d love to talk through what’s possible and create a plan that fits the time we have.
We’ll start with a phone call or a conversation over coffee. I want to understand what matters to you: what a previous birth was like, if you’ve given birth before, who you want in the room, what you’re looking forward to, what you’re nervous about, and even what kind of light you love.
Whether we work together for months or only have a few conversations before your baby arrives, my hope is that I feel like someone you know and trust when the day comes.
Once you’re booked, I’m on call for you. My phone stays on, my bags stay packed, and I protect your due-date window so I can get to you when you need me. When labor begins, you or your partner contacts me, and we stay in close communication as things progress. I join you when the timing is right for your birth, your preferences, and your history.
For most clients, coverage begins during active labor, often around 5-1-1, and continues through the first couple of hours after your baby arrives. If you book close to your due date or while labor is already beginning, we’ll make a clear plan together based on where you are, your birth history, and how quickly I need to reach you.*
After your baby is born, I head home and begin editing your story. You’ll receive a small preview within 24 to 48 hours, followed by your complete gallery and film, if included in your collection, within four weeks. Every image is carefully hand-edited so your final collection feels cohesive, intentional, and true to the day.

WHENEVER YOU'RE READY— CONSULTATION
We start with a conversation.
Thirty minutes, by phone, at no cost. We get to know each other; we talk about your birth; you can ask me anything; and we figure out together whether we are a great fit.
THE SAME WEEK— BOOKING
Your due date is reserved.
If it's a fit, I send a proposal within a day, built around the collection(s) that actually make sense for your needs. A signed agreement and a retainer hold your window on my calendar, and payment plans run across whatever months of pregnancy are left.
From this point on, from thirty-seven weeks, I don't travel, don't schedule anything I can't leave, and sleep with my phone close. Your date is held whether labor comes early, late, or exactly on time.
WEEK 35— THE MEETING
In-person Meeting
Around thirty-five weeks, we meet in person. We talk through your birth plan, who else will be in the room, what to expect from me, and exactly how to reach me when it’s baby time.
DAY OF— THE BIRTH
Your birth story begins.
Your birth does not need to perform for the camera.
I won’t direct the room, interrupt a moment, or ask you to do anything twice. I work with the light that is already there: the first blue light of morning in a hospital room, the glow of a bedside lamp, or the warm kitchen light during a long night at home.
I photograph births at home, in hospitals, and in birth centers. Every birth has its own rhythm, and I meet it there. My job is to be present without taking over, noticing the details that might otherwise pass quickly, and creating photographs that feel like your birth, not a performance of it.
WHERE I ATTEND BIRTHS
Home births, all around Central Florida, alongside your midwife or birth team.
Hospitals, including Winnie Palmer, AdventHealth, and Orlando Health. Policies vary, so I confirm photography policy with your facility during pregnancy, not at the door.
Birth centers, including but not limited to Tree of Life Birth Center, Heart 2 Heart Birth Center, and The Birth Place.
DOULA AND PHOTOGRAPHER, TOGETHER
Being a trained doula changes how I read a room. I know when to lift the camera and when to set it down and hold a cup of water to someone's mouth. When I'm both for you, you get one familiar person instead of two. If you'd rather have a separate doula, I keep working relationships with several across Central Florida and I'm happy to send referrals.
IF PLANS CHANGE
An induction, an epidural, a transfer, a cesarean- none of these end my job. Physical and emotional support, advocacy, and information stay constant through all of it, helping you ask questions and hear answers when you're exhausted, and staying with you through whatever the night actually needs.
+24–48 HRS— THE SNEAK PEEK
Within a day or two
Within twenty-four to forty-eight hours of the birth, you get a small set of early images, enough to see your baby's first hours again before the exhaustion turns them hazy. Everything else is still being worked on, but you're not waiting weeks to see anything at all.
+4 WEEKS— YOUR GALLERY
Full gallery delivered within four weeks
The rest comes within four weeks, delivered through a private online gallery, yours to keep, download, and print. Every frame is edited one at a time, not run through a batch filter, which is part of why it takes real weeks and not a couple of days.
Some of what I capture along the way is film, not just stills, the sound of the room, the pace of it, the way a voice changes in the last minutes. It's shot alongside photography, using the same light and the same rule: nothing staged, nothing asked to happen again. Film starts at $600, added to any collection.
You decide what's shared beyond your gallery. Every family signs an agreement about use, and no image goes anywhere public without a specific yes.
