Dancing in the Rain | MacDonald Family Maternity
Sometimes Mother Nature crashes your session, and sometimes she makes it better. When the afternoon sky opened up during the MacDonald's maternity session, magic happened.
Instead of running for cover, this family embraced the unexpected downpour. Big sister's eyes lit up at the puddles forming around her feet. Dad's protective hand stayed steady on Mama's back as they laughed at the sky's perfect timing. And mama? She just glowed, raindrops mixing with her joyful tears as her toddler twirled in the storm.
Through my rain-spotted lens, I captured pure, unscripted joy: a toddler's splash in a fresh puddle, parents sharing knowing looks as their little one discovered rain dance moves, and tender moments of family snuggles under darkening skies.
You can't plan these moments. You can't pose this kind of genuine happiness. Sometimes the best sessions happen when you let go of perfect and dance in the rain instead.
