Rory's Newborn Session
There are some sessions that mark special milestones in a photographer's journey. As I drove to Winter Garden for Rory's newborn session, I couldn't help but smile at the symbolism - my first Florida newborn after relocating from Oregon. New state, new beginnings, new life.
The Florida light danced differently through the windows than I was used to in Oregon. Brighter, warmer, more golden. It painted Rory's nursery in honey-colored stripes, creating the perfect natural spotlight for documenting these precious early days.
Where Oregon gave me moody, soft light filtering through evergreens, Florida offered bright, bold sunshine streaming through palm fronds. But some things remain constant no matter the location - the peaceful breathing of a sleeping newborn, the proud glow of new parents, the way tiny fingers curl around adult ones.
